Together we will pinch, sculpt, press and roll clay to create one of a kind wares! Our program will begin with creating a bowl using slab and mold technique - then we will continue to build with slabs to create a sculptural relief to hang on the wall. These projects will provide a foundation in clay skills, as well as to engage our imagination.Ms. Dominique is a ceramic artist and teacher, neighbor, and mom of two!

Class Experience
Art Club! Taught by Bee Beddingfield, lifelong artist and local craftsperson who sells her handmade woodburning and mixed media art professionally.
Bee is a WBNS parent and has worked with children teaching art in a variety of settings.
In this Art Club, students will explore their creativity through several hands on nature-based art projects, and showcase their work in the Barn after our final class!
Among other things, we will be experimenting with some projects from The Organic Artist for Kids, making our own stone pigment paint and paintbrushes from nature, before creating beautiful artwork as our ancestors may have done on the walls of caves. This class series will be hands-on, fun, and suitable for all skill levels!
