Summer Solstice Taper Candle Workshop

Let’s come together and celebrate the sun’s highest point in the year while learning to make hand-dipped taper candles with pure local beeswax.

Candlelight is a wonderful way to ease the lengthening nights and welcome the darkness, as well as to help our bodies relax into a more meditative state leading to deeper sleep.

We will each make a pair of 8” tapers plus a twisted spiral double candle. There will also be conversation about the magical world of bees and the importance of rituals and celebrations.

The workshop will be led by Jessamy Ames, lifelong artist, former beekeeper and the creator of North Star Candle Co.
